Registration Deadline: April 1Learn to guide teams from initial formation to peak performance in complex and evolving organizational contexts. Drawing on Patrick Lencioni’s The Five Dysfunctions of a Team, you'll examine common behaviors and barriers that undermine team effectiveness and learn practical strategies to build stronger collaboration.
Emphasis is placed on creating trust, fostering healthy communication, and encouraging productive—rather than personal—conflict so teams can solve problems openly and effectively. Through applied examples and real-world scenarios, you'll develop tools to help teams navigate growth, change, and uncertainty.
Participants will also complete short reflections outside of class to deepen learning and apply concepts to their own team environments. The course will require a copy of Patrick Lencioni’s The Five Dysfunctions of a Team (available via Amazon, Audible, and other retailers). By the end of the course, participants will be equipped to strengthen alignment, accountability, and performance across their teams.
Designed for developing leaders and strong individual contributors—as well as anyone who wants to positively influence the teams they're part of at work, in the community, at school, or at home.
You'll learn to:
- Recognize the stages of team development and how to guide a team toward sustained performance
- Understand how differences in perspectives can both enrich and challenge team dynamics
