Tuition and Fees IconTuition and Scholarships

Tuition is $49,000 plus program fees, which cover access to use the Benet CMC career services, scheduled social/professional development programming, Orientation programming, and required course materials.

Merit scholarships are available for all qualified candidates. Learn more about scholarships for US active duty and military veterans, and University of Rochester employees and alumni below. In addition, candidates may earn a scholarship to the Online MSBA & Applied AI program by participating virtually in our annual Simon Games virtual business simulation competition.

Military Scholarships

Reflecting our commitment to providing a premier education to US service members, and in affiliation with the University of Rochester, Simon Business School is proud to offer scholarship that matches dollar for dollar the remaining tuition expense for all 100% benefit-eligible, post-9/11 veterans of the United States Armed Forces. Active and veteran military members also benefit from the University’s participation in the Yellow Ribbon Program, which includes unlimited matching funds to cover the education costs beyond the benefits of the Post-9/11 GI Bill.

University of Rochester Employees

University of Rochester employees can use their tuition benefits toward a Simon degree! Not sure if you’re qualified? Wondering about costs not covered by benefits? Connect with us to learn what options are available to you. You can also learn more via the University’s website.

In addition to tuition benefits, UR employees are also eligible for merit-based scholarship consideration, which can help offset the remaining tuition costs after tuition benefits are applied. University of Rochester Alumni

Candidates with an undergraduate, master's, or doctoral degree from the University of Rochester benefit from the following: priority admission consideration, a waived Simon application fee, and a minimum of $10,000 a year in merit-based scholarships for Simon’s part-time and full-time programs.
 

Scholarship Award Policy

Scholarships cannot surpass 100% tuition and students may only utilize one of the scholarships offered by Simon Business School. Tuition scholarships will be applied after tuition benefits. 

If you would like to be considered for scholarship support from Simon, please select “yes” to the question “Would you like to be considered for Simon’s merit-based scholarships?” in your application. Candidates must meet standard selection criteria, which includes a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

This course introduces basic techniques for data exploration and visualization, with an emphasis on understanding and reasoning with data and communicating data-driven results to a managerial audience. Generative AI will be used to uncover conjectures for further exploration of data sets and augment attainable insights from data.

This course introduces utilizing data and data analytics to inform decision-making in today’s business environment. Extracting information from data has become an integral part of modern business management, from Main Street to Wall Street to Silicon Valley. Generative AI will be used as a complementary tool throughout the course, as it can be paired with existing software and analytic techniques to greatly expand the scope of application. This course will de-mystify statistical learning and data analytics, enabling students to thrive in a competitive market for data-based decision-making.

This course focuses on database design, management, and warehousing concepts to support analytics efforts. The course introduces SQL programming and related frameworks for data retrieval and transformation. Students will also learn Tableau to rapidly design and create data visualizations and dashboards, both for exploratory data analysis and effective communication.

The class relies on an analytical framework that combines financial frictions analysis and AI applications. Financial frictions provide opportunities for AI-driven FinTech solutions. The class covers the evolution of deep learning models in the last decade, discusses the cutting-edge AI applications, and helps students to identify new opportunities for value creation.

The objectives of this course are to understand the analytics environment, including people and organizational challenges, data, and the role of models, and to understand concepts and apply frameworks of data-driven decision-making for business decisions. GBA 473 covers marketing analytics, operational analytics, and business analytics. Generative AI is used throughout the course to enhance the process of discovery and the articulation of ideas.

GBA 474 covers the concepts and tools needed for the effective design of analytics, using non-system data and experiments to solve business problems. The course focuses on “soft” skills related to structuring complex problems, decision-making with imperfect information, and designing analysis to address analytics research questions. Generative AI is used throughout the course for both internal and customer-facing elements of analytics design and application.  It further reinforces and expands on “hard” skills related to data wrangling, descriptive, predictive, and causal analytics, unsupervised learning methods, and generative AI tools and applications.
