Simon Games: Business Simulation Competition and Scholarship Opportunity

Simon Games is a simulation-based competition that provides you with the opportunity to make strategic decisions to improve a company's performance—all while competing for a full-tuition scholarship! (In total, over $500,000 in scholarships will be awarded to competition finalists.)

There are two opportunities to play Simon Games—one in the fall and one in the spring. Candidates interested in Simon's Full-Time MBA, MS in Accountancy, AI in Business, Business Analytics, Finance or Marketing Analytics programs are invited to play in the Fall Games (register by October 30). Those interested in Simon's Executive MBA or Online MS in Business Analytics & Applied AI are invited to play in the Spring Games (registration will open early next year). Candidates interested in Simon's Professional MBA are invited to play in either the Fall or Spring Games depending on their desired entry term.

How to Participate in Simon Games

Depending on your program of interest, the simulations for Fall Games players will involve one of the following:

  • Acting as a CEO, making decisions on marketing, distribution, and manufacturing of a product
  • Acting as a stakeholder in a company, analyzing an industry and shaping your company's success through strategic decisions amid dynamic forces

Participants compete against computer simulations. Emerge as a top contender and earn an invitation to the final round of the scholarship competition—a virtual Report to the Board—an opportunity to present on your performance to a board consisting of Simon staff, faculty, alumni, and current students.

A full-tuition scholarship will be awarded to the grand-prize winner from each challenge, based on program of interest:

  • 1 Full-Time MBA grand-prize winner!
  • 1 Professional MBA grand-prize winner!
  • 1 Full-Time MS grand-prize winner!

In total, over $500,000 in business school scholarships will be awarded to the top finalists who enroll in the MBA or MS program that corresponds to their challenge in 2025.
