For International Students on F-1 Visas:

  • If you are completing your degree in December while already studying in the US, you can transfer your SEVIS record to the University of Rochester, which in most cases allows you to begin your Simon program without a new visa interview.
  • As a STEM-designated program, Simon’s MS degrees are structured so students can apply for Curricular Practical Training (CPT) during study and Optional Practical Training (OPT) after graduation, including up to a 24-month STEM extension.
